No 7 on the truck
Description:
Old No7 arrived at Walkersville, Md. from the Western Maryland Scenic on a cloudy fall Monday. This locomotive was ordered from the Fate Root Heath Company of Plymouth, Ohio in October of 1959. Model CR4 60 Ton with builders serial number 6216. It was built for the Jones and Laughlin Steel Corp and shipped to the Aliquippa Works on June 3rd 1960. The 16 page order specification notes that it was delivered with radio remote control capability. It ended up at the East Broad Top yard in Mount Union, Pa sometime around 2000 where it was in yellow livery as EBT Nr. 3 working the standard gauge side of EBTs dual gauge yard. Later it moved to the Western Maryland Scenic (WSMR) where it carried WM livery as Old No 7. /DL
