Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad F3 121 near Galesburg, Illinois on June 11, 1948, photograph by P Stringham, print William A. Raia, Chuck Zeiler collection. For purposes of filing on this site, this locomotive is assumed to be 121A. The four units pictured were considered by the railroad and brotherhoods to be a single locomotive, the cab at the other end was also numbered 121. Both A-units were retro-fitted with a second headlight placed in the door.
