Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #16, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during March of 1918 and retired in December of 1954 after 36 years of faithful service. Note the Fireman of the tender's deck, refilling the reservoir. "Fill 'er up, Mack!" The exact date and the location are not recorded. Roy Healey Collection; #23 of 38. |
