This good looking 4-6-2 Pacific type steam locomotive was built for the New York, Chicago & St Louis (aka Nickel Plate Road) in August of 1923 by Alco-Brooks. Specs - serial #64634, class K-1b, 73" drivers, 215 psi boiler pressure, 22.5x26" cyldiners, engine weight of 255,320 lb, tractive effort of 32,951 lb. Sitting in a St Louis yard is this Alco-Brooks 4-6-2 Pacific built in August of 1923 for the New York, Chicago & St Louis (Nickel Plate) as their #167. Specs - serial #64634, class K-1b, 73" drivers, 215 psi boiler pressure, 22.5x26" cyldiners, engine weight of 255,320 lb, tractive effort of 32,951 lb.
