Elmira. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide that was taken in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, in 1948. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6716, an M-1A (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as an M-1A during April of 1930, rebuilt in Juniata as an M-1B in September of 1949, and retired in October of 1956 after 26 years of faithful service. The photographer's name and the exact date are not recorded. ("Stoneborobranch"; #2 of 34)
