Description:
At this point in its life, it still has a shine on its boiler shroud and fairly clean whitewall wheels indicative of its valued service to CN. The loco was built by the Montreal Locomotive Works in December of 1942, serial #69790, class U-2-g. The loco continued in service for another two years after this photo before meeting the scrapper's torch in May of 1960.
