MetroLink Car 2010 heads east toward Rock Road on the old Wabash
Description:
Car 2010 is heading into Rock Road Station toward Shiloh on the old UD (Union Depot) branch of the Wabash Railroad. To the left, you can see where the ground is worn from so many people walking along the right-of-way. People have done this since the line opened as a shortcut to easily reach the station from North Market Street to avoid looping around all the side streets to reach the station.

A westbound MetroLink train approaches the UMSL-North Station in Normandy, MO, running on the viaduct high above the southernmost terminus of the 2.5 mile long Ted Jones Trail which runs from the campus near the station, to Redmond Ave in Ferguson. This train consists of Cars 2010 (an SD460 model from 1999), and 3024 (an SD460 2000 model).
