Album Info:
On August 21, 1981, Conrail paired up SD45’s, an SD45, SD40-2 pair, and an older SD40, SD40-2 pair as pushers at Horseshoe Curve. Also, a hot TV train braked down the hill with an SD40-2, SD45 pair on the head end, assisting a GP40 and a GP40-2. All photos by my railfan buddy, with permission.
